Getting the sparkle back

Purple bluebells

I'm not really sure what colour you would call this, but it's not blue.

I blipped it on my way home from my literature class, held in A's home. We were discussing Life Begins on Friday by a Romanian author, Ioana Pârvulescu written in 2009 and set in Bucharest at the end of the Nineteenth Century. I would not recommend it! It had its moments but was a real jumble of a plot leaving most strands without a resolution. I can only imagine that it's popular in Romania because it's seen as a feel-good book which I expect Romanians are short of. That probably sounds very patronising, but I really don't think I can put it another way!

We finally had a warm day - the wind changed direction. What a difference it makes - it just relaxes you and makes you happy.
