Surfers and sailors

It was an exceptionally low tide today.  Newquay harbour emptied completely and we walked in at the normally deep end straight off the beach.  The surfers had a long walk to the sea and honestly it wasn't worth the effort, I have never seen such a flat sea with barely a ripple on it.  I'm not sure what the kids (extra) were learning but they were having a great time. We were eating fish 'n chips in the excellent Boathouse.
