Bee plus...

Owing to a combination of illness, laziness, and crap weather, I haven't been to Hampton Court for a while - I managed to miss the whole "Tulip Festival" thing in the process. I was happy to get back today and find a host of insects out and about taking advantage of the warm weather and abundant flowers.

Main blip is of a bee emerging backwards from a foxglove flower, and having to pull himself free from what appears to be some rather sticky stuff. The extra is of a far more sensible bee which was working over one of the many beautiful alliums which are coming into bloom. (Both shots probably work better in full screen)
