Eye Ball

Eye ball to eye ball with a banded demoiselle - not an easy task as she was in the grasses on the floor. Changed lens, hit the deck, prayed she wouldn't do a runner and sidled in a what I thought was in an inconspicuous manner forwards. She must have thought, 'Cos you're worth it!' and stayed a while till she thought I must have had my moneys worth out of her.

Yesterday I was hard pushed to find any insects but today with the weather warming up the river bank had woken up. Still waiting for the dragons I know are there.
