Spring is in the air
It certainly was this morning at Les Grangettes on a blipmeet with HilarysView and Alijay. I counted over 22 mating pairs of Grebes and the blip is an action shot right in front of the hide. We didn’t expect them to be mating so late in spring.
Later Alijay and I walked through the reserve to a new hide overlooking two manmade ponds. The sound of frogs took us over to the edge of one and we saw many small, young frogs. Next stop was the amazing Jardin Intensif, an area made up of driftwood, bushes and unusual metal sculptures. On the way back to the car, a Black Cap put in an appearance right next to us. See extras.
A great morning out with fellow blippers.
