On This Day

Mum and Dad got married on this day in 1952.  Mum was 20, Dad was 22.  Post-war rationing was still a part of life and my grandparents had a few problems in putting together Mum's wedding outfit but I think she looks every inch the "Radiant Bride" and Dad looks so happy standing beside her.  

I called Pegasus Airlines this morning and made arrangements for taking Connie with me on Sunday.   She travels as my hand luggage!  We will stay there until the end of July.
