Hay Wain - a tribute

Fabulous day trip for seascape and landscape photography. Started off at Dovercourt Beach near Harwich after getting off the overnight ferry to capture long exposures of the lighthouse and groynes before heading to Dedham and Flatford Mill to pay tribute to master of landscape painting, Constable. Here's my interpretation of the scene of The Hay Wain - Willy Lot's House, Flatford Mill (in IR, of course). Many more scenes along the banks of the river Stour were captured which, along with the beach pics I have yet to process.

Have to say it was lovely being in England, familiar language all around, friendly, smiling locals very happy to chat and very helpful too. I had a marvellously relaxing and fulfilling day. Definitely something to do again.
