Above Minniehaha

Minniehaha Falls is out from North Katoomba. They encompass quite a long drop into a fetching lagoon. This isn't them/it. Pictured is a small cascade along one of the streams that feeds Minniehaha. "Mini Minniehaha Falls" perhaps?

The track that leads to the actual site of the main falls crosses this course. It is normally "steppable" but not today. The stream was swollen in both depth and width, offering the perfect place for a watery accident ... at least for old, unsteady codgers lugging lotsa gear. So I didn't venture further ... darn it.
