Day 3 Benson to Pangbourne

After yesterday’s exertions I was in no fit state to do today’s walk. I decided to save myself for Day 4. My lovely sister in law picked me up and we rendezvoused with the walkers at a riverside pub halfway through their ordeal. After that pleasant interlude I was dropped off in Pangbourne. During our evening meal we were entertained by a road gang who dug up and resurfaced part of the road outside.
