Gardening day

Many of the homeowners in our little property got together for a day of rejuvenating some of the garden areas.  We have some rhododendron that are nearly 50 years old and have become diseased so they had to be removed.  Digging, small chainsaw, crowbar were all employed.  Then the new plants could be put in.  The areas do look very nice now.   Back home we did a little work in our courtyard.  The weather is improving, some spots of sun and a few rain showers today.  I'm off to a refresher class on scoring applications for scholarships this evening.
