Tender Loving Care

Himself is making the best of his retirement and making sure that everything is getting caught up 

We had let the allotment get a bit scrappy. Mainly because we have to keep going on holiday 

Every day the weather is good - he drops me off and off he goes 

Fence has been fixed; beds have been fixed and dug over.  Borders have been degreased and dug over.  

Today - he was delighted to report that the potatoes he put in last week were already showing 

He planted the peas and the broad beans.  Parsnips went in last week.  The onions and garlic and shallots are all coming up.  

He took me home tonight after work and it was a joy to see it looking so good 

I was really excited to see all the flowers on the strawberries   heavens!   I think we will have strawberries by the end of the month!  I hope so


Despite the sun still shining when I got home. The wind was still cold out the back. 

The wisteria (see extra) is looking amazing
