Peacock butterfly

This beautiful butterfly emerged in our garden today as the temperatures finally began to rise. We hope all the new planting in our garden is helping as many insects as possible to thrive. In turn their presence is greatly helping the ailing bird population too. It really does make a difference. We walked to collect the boys this afternoon without coats. Such a welcome change and so long overdue!
