B’s turn
We were back over to Stafford this lunchtime to visit Rowley Hall Hospital. It’s a private hospital which provides services for the NHS. It’s an unusual set up being located in a Georgian listed building in 5 acres of Rowley Park. I was sure that we were heading in the wrong direction, but was very impressed when we got there.
When B was referred to a specialist we were sent a form with 3 options, two of the hospitals had a wait of more than 30 weeks to be seen, whereas this has been about 8 weeks.
The waiting area looks empty, but the throughput was speedy and I chose the moment to get empty seats.
We came home via the south side of the town, a new route for us, gradually building up the mind map of the area.
