On the Promenade
Having seen a sculpture of two animal characters in a public place last week (1 May blip), here's another one from my trip to Cheltenham over the weekend. These two occupy a central position in the pedestrian area known as the Promenade. I couldn't find any explanatory notice as to who, if any, characters - literary or otherwise - they are meant to represent or who the artist is. Still, quite a welcome and somewhat "different " piece of public art to find in genteel Cheltenham. The extra isvof Sophie Ellis-Bextor, of kitchen disco fame, playing to a packed audience in the Big Top arena on Sunday night.
