Flying

We took the dogs for their walk round Strichen lake this morning.
The female swan was sitting on their nest at one end of the lake while the male was at the other end. However, he took off as you can see, and flew down to the near end, although he didn’t pay attention to his mate.
In the afternoon, I met up with CBLinks at Mintlaw and we had a coffee and scones followed by a walk round our allotments and a stroll round Aden Park. We were lucky enough to see a squirrel but no photos for me. We had a fine chat about things like sport, music , blip and world politics.
