Whitethroat

The sunshine has returned!  And it's warm too so no coat was required for our little trip today to do some shopping and have a short wander at the nature reserve.    Lots of bird song in the air, including the nightingales and blackcaps, and lots of lovely WhiteThroats too so they were enjoying the sunshine too!  A few butterflies about too -wall browns, peacocks, whites and orange tips!

And had to go to the post office this afternoon to send off a parcel!  Stopped at the library on the walk back for a little look to see what new books were in .. none took my fancy this time!
