Do you see what I see?
I fell asleep last night while uploading this image. Asleep on the job! Exhausted.
The Red Admiral butterfly, in flight, a flash of bejewelled colour in the evening sunlight, perfect for attracting a mate.
At rest, drab and almost invisible, perfect for hiding from predators.
See how it has aligned itself with the sun to create the smallest shadow possible?
It could be said that humans mimic butterfles in their use of dress, make-up and behaviour.
I think the time has come for my metamorphosis into a vibrant imago, (with the addition of camouflage when needed.)
