Tiny flies
This tiny pair of flies were "sitting" on an osteospermum petal - which gives you an idea of just how small they are.
Their scientific name is Neotephritis finalis - they are a type of fruit fly. Unfortunately, the activity being witnessed here will in due course result in the production of sunflower seed maggots, which cause damage to some fruit crops.
I hesitate to say that there is more detail in the large view - but there is if you're up for it.
