Taiko Valley

I've had a lovely social day - out for lunch with friends, (had one of the nicest Thai Green Curry ever) then to a display of knitting (blankets, jerseys, hat, slippers, socks etc etc) that have been done by local knitters and combined with other communities are sent to the underprivileged children of Moldova . They send a container over there every year, costing something in the order of $15000 for container and travel expenses. What wonderful people and a worthy thing to do.

From there went to visit friends,more coffee and then home via the back route to take this.

The sun was very low and touching the tips of the downs, beautiful. What this image doesn't show is the howling nor-wester and the heat that we are experiencing. Another 20 deg day - the winds are horrendous .....Large is worth it I think :)
