Sunbathing

Went for several walks around Oudewater today, as well as helped my mum with the housework. It was rather interesting trying to get the downstairs done with Little Man running about. My dad then took him for a lovely long walk so that we could finish.

The waterways of Oudewater are busier now that the weather is hotter. So we've seen the bridges open and close more over the last few days than they did all winter (I think the bridges don't operate during the colder months). Little Man does enjoy watching them open.

I came across this duck, sitting with a few others, on a partly flooded boat where the Linschoten River meets the Hollandse IJssel and I had to take a photo. The birds have really been enjoying the warmer weather as it means they can sunbathe more.
