My City of Gold

Some days are mostly uphill,
This was one.
Not much energy and
not much accomplished.
Cleaning the garage,
adding to cablevision - almost!
bags of detritus to the Sally Ann
four mice dispatched
a nap sandwiched between efforts
a drive with camera before sunset
little thunder showers glide over
light changes the valley and the mountains for the lens
missed photos of mariposa lily and doe with twin fawns
home before dark
hopes for a more productive day tomorrow...
