Cow parsley

The garden has gone wild again..

GG fetched me in the morning. Took me and her friend S out to breakfast (it was sunny so we sat outside) then got us to work restoring her house to rights after the party. Most of the washing up had already been done, praise be. 

I was shocked to see her gather up all her presents and put them in a pile 'for the cupboard' to be given out again as presents for other people. We managed to get her to keep the chocolates and biscuits out, so she didn't allow them to go musty. I now wish I had not spent ten pounds on a hand cream for her. It's charity shops presents from now on, and maybe a gift certificate from.Oxfam. I think I will ask her to save the hand cream and give it back to me for Christmas or something....

Steve and I were supposed to go out in the afternoon, but the weather turned dreich again and I did not fancy dripping around a country house garden under grey skies. I think I did a jigsaw in the end.
