Lilac time

Made the most of some more fine weather and spent much of the day in the garden. A lot of effort and, at first glance, nothing much to see for it, though it is beginning to take shape and looks a little less like a jungle! The view from the front garden is very colourful just now - still some blossom left on the cherry tree in the garden opposite (though much of it is on the pavement), the chestnut tree is full of white candles, and the lilac in the garden next door is covered in flowers. When the temperature rose this afternoon, the fragrance was heavenly.

After MrM left to play at another ceilidh this evening, I started altering my green coat. Re-shaping the front will take a while!
