One of those days!

A very grey and murky bank holiday Monday though it’s been largely dry. Couldn’t stop coughing when I woke this morning so I didn’t go to Zumba but I did go out for lunch at the garden centre with MC and the wee one. A phone call from the care home whilst there to say Mum had had another fall but appeared to be okay other than a scraped elbow. I picked up a few groceries on the way home then MC took the car so they could head to Aldi for a big shop. I wasn’t long in the house when the home phoned again to say the district nurse had seen Mum and thought she’d maybe fractured her femur and they were just waiting for the ambulance to take her to Cramlington for an X-ray…with no car I couldn’t just pop over to see her. We’re still waiting to hear what’s up.

My blip was taken before we went for lunch…a double exposure in full glorious technicolour, extra 1 - oilseed rape in the mist, extra 2 - one-legged seagulls on the roof opposite me when we got home.
