Winnie ( extra)
I met Marc for a coffee this morning before going for my train. We always spend a couple of hours in conversation about the world, politics, the environment and animals.
I had an hour to kill in Carlisle so I went to the cathedral. I’ve been before but it was lovely to go again. It’s so beautiful and I lit a candle for my loved ones. I usually light a few for different family members but I didn’t have enough cash!
Many of the shops in Carlisle had closed down including from today House of Fraser.
I had time when I got back to the station to buy a take away coffee and I saw this wee pooch near the cafe. I’m not into dyeing dog’s hair but she was so cute and her multi tattooed owner said she was the 5th owner in the dog’s short life. Winnie has obviously founded her forever home and is very pampered!
I am now on the Leeds train to Hellifield and looking forward to getting home.
After a raised temperature last night I feel fine today.
I left my watercolour pencils for Lucy and Amelia to keep. They were so enjoying painting - Lucy mostly. I said they have to share them. I’m going to read my book now for the rest of the journey.
Thanks for all the comments, stars and hearts over the last few days.
