The third running of the Point to Point and the third time I've run it too. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but thought I'd go off at 45 minute pace and see how it went, expecting the pace to drop off by the end. Somehow my pace was spot on and only varied by about 6 seconds per Km for the whole race...that doesn't happen very often.

Unfortunately I was on my own again this year because Owen had yet another birthday party to go to, hence the post-finish selfie to prove I hadn't died. Although, as it was nearby, I did get a lift to the start line. That also meant I had to walk home from the Quarry and then after a shower and food take Aaron out to get birthday presents for Louisa.
