Holding Steady

In a strong wind, this kestrel kept his target under a watchful eye until, that is, some swooping seagulls changed its plans. It made several attempts but lunch didn't emerge while I was there.

This was during a lovely walk around St.Ives (see extras), before which we (me, Mrs K, Millie pups, Danielle & Kieran) had a late, cooked breakfast in Porthleven, then caught the train from St. Erth, a short though wonderfully scenic ride. 

We followed the return journey with fish and chips overlooking St. Michael's Mount. And managed another walk before settling for the evening. I don't think of us will be late to bed!
