Rejected Asparagus

You can buy the perfect asparagus at the farmer, but there are always broken or crooked asparagus left over. You can buy these rejected ones for next to nothing. They taste the same, are great for soup, but also great for preparing and eating in smaller pieces. We enjoyed it.
