Parking

Over to fetch the boat to the pontoon for tomorrow’s grand event. In haste, as I was meeting my old chum AK. Very pleasant to catch up, sitting up the garden on the bench. Reminiscences came thick and fast. And wisdom. Wisdom aplenty. If only the cacophony of the world would still to hear us, eh? Ha, the lot of old men everywhere.
Actually the cacophony was close and present - two car bashes on LGR within a short time of each other leading to queues and short tempers. The pavement parking ban has had certain knock ons. Or knock offs in terms of the car mirrors of our less fortunate neighbours.
Later, a film! A wonderful wonderful film along at the Vue. There’s Always Tomorrow. Apparently it’s outsold Barbie and Oppenheimer combined. Well, in Italy. A gorgeous and amusing take on the films of Italian Neorealism. Yes, ma’am.
