Portofino

Today we went by coach to San Margherito Ligure and from there took the ferry to Portofino.   

Such a beautiful bay bustling with all kinds of boats and surrounded by old ochre, cream  and mustard coloured buildings.

Walked up to the cathedral for some quiet time away from the crowds and then walked along the narrow lanes to take some photos.

And had coffee with the beautiful view of the  bay to enjoy.

Back in San M L we had a snack and a wander along the promenade before heading back to Pietrasanta.  My extra photo is taken in San M L of Christopher Columbus' statue

Will back blip when and if I can and perhaps when back home....it is a busy sightseeing holiday and I don't want to miss a thing!
