Independence Day Walk

I love my walks in the wood with the Archie Boy first thing in the morning.
This morning, after a heavy night of rainfall, the sun was trying to punch its way into the day with varying degrees of success.
It was muggy, but I had on my armour of waterproof breeks and anorak to stop me from getting a) stung to bits my nettles and b) soaked by rain on the rapidly expanding foliage.
Still got a) stung and b) soaked to the skin
