Glasses and old sandals

A few days ago, I took a photo of the old sandals that were left behind in the park but I didn't blip it. When I walked today, I saw a pair of glasses perched on the sandals. Not sure if someone left them there on purpose or if another person found them and put them on the sandals where the owner might notice them. I wonder why the sandals were left instead of being discarded by their owner, certainly in poor shape.
Not much pep in my step today, but I enjoyed a walk and got a lot done when I got home anyway.
