A walk through Sherdley Park

Walked to and through Sherdley Park today then on into town and just missed the bus home which was a minute early - the next was due in half an hour but was 7 minutes late. Grrrr.
This magnificent horse chestnut tree was in the park.
I spotted a clump of very deep purple flowers and went for a closer look. Surprised to see they were bluebells since they were much deeper in colour than any others. See extra.
It's been a grey day with on and off drizzle and later on it rained properly.
