A very enjoyable meet up today. As planned, we went to Savernake Forest near Marlborough, but the sheets of bluebells that I remember from a childhood visit simply weren't there. There were some magnificent old trees though.
After a break for lunch and cake-sharing, we moved on to West Woods, on the other side of Marlborough, where there were thousands (millions?) of bluebells.
