Living Geography

New role

Over to Cambridge today - although Great Northern did their best to spoil the journey both ways... to Cambridge Assessment / CUP for a meeting about the new GCSE Natural History. A really useful day and caught up with a few friends and met some new ones. We couldn't be told too much about the new qualification as it was embargoed, but enough to start thinking about what might be involved. A lovely lunch and home earlyish due to train issues later. Around five o' clock, the ballot papers for places on the Council of the Royal Geographical Society went online which meant I could let people know that in June I'll be confirmed as the new Vice President: Education for the RGS-IBG and serve on Council for four years.
