WORLDWIDE NAKED GARDENERS' DAY

Hello Lovely Blippers,

This is naked JH Ted - on Worldwide Naked Gardeners’ Day - doing my bit.  However, I wasn’t completely naked, as I had to keep my glasses so that I could see to keep everyone in order.  I didn’t want things to get out of hand!

The day dawned bright and sunny, but there was still a chilly wind, so we all had a little chat and decided that if some of us went naked - and not everyone wanted to take part, then it was too cold to be naked outside, so we asked Mr. HCB if we could congregate for the photoshoot in his greenhouse.  

Mr. HCB was quite happy for us to be in there, as long as, he said, he didn’t have to go naked too.  Well, we have it on good authority that although he might have been “an adonis” when he was younger, he doesn’t have quite the physique he once had, but he still looks pretty good for his age and still works hard in his garden, as you all know.  

So here we all are - those who were prepared to discard their clothes and go naked on the right and those who said “Not on your nelly!” on the left, with PC Plod keeping a careful eye on what was happening sitting on top of the watering can.  

Baby Jay said he had never seen anything like it before and he thought that G & C who brought him over from America to join the Silly Saturday Gang would be shocked!  However, we hope that DavidC, who is kindly hosting won't be too perturbed by all the naked bodies - who knows, he might even be going naked in the garden himself today - now that would make a good Blip!

There were lots of spikey plants about as you can see, so those of us who were naked had to be very careful that the spikes didn’t touch any of us.  We were pleased to see that one of the geraniums that Mr. HCB had grown from seed was flowering and it’s a beautiful red.  

We did wonder if the HCB Board of Censors would make this shot X rated, but we were careful not to show too much!

We tried to persuade Mrs. HCB to take off her pink robe, but if she had done, that would definitely have been X RATED!!

We think that dear Admirer would have giggled if she could have seen us - and of course, this is what Silly Saturday is all about - it’s in her memory, she who started this, all those years ago, so THANK YOU, ADMIRER!

It only remains for us to remind you to BE KIND - whatever anyone chooses to do, it is their choice and even though you may not agree with someone, you can still BE KIND!
