Busy bees

While Russet was snuffling about in the hedges this morning on our walk, I noticed that the thistles are out and the bees are finding them attractive too. But they do move fast! They must collect their pollen very efficiently!
We had good fun playing short mat bowls this afternoon - everyone has a good sense of humour and there is much laughter as well as bowling skill (or not, as in my case).
I am still very much a beginner, but everyone is very encouraging!
F and I are enjoying Wimbledon very much - and the next few days promise plenty more nail-biting entertainment!
