Clarets Calling

We skived our To-Do list and headed south for the Magdalena Mts. A few years back we had discovered at this time of year a mountain ridge all abloom with Claret Cactii flowers. We took a gamble and headed out for a desert wilderness ramble, hoping the clarets would be out.
