Morning Moon - Warm winter
It's almost gone, the big moon that was there has now faded into what I saw this morning when I opened the curtains.
Very thin Pink clouds and a Nor'wester day means another warm winters day. Although the skiers probably won't like it, I do. currently 11 celsius and looking at a high of 17 degrees.
43°33'S in July is not supposed to have a week of weather like this :)
Christchurch can get very unusual weather conditions as the very hot air from Australia rises and is blown across the Tasman, when it reaches the eastern flat side of the Southern Alps it gets dragged down onto the Canterbury plains causing temperatures to increase dramatically.
Thank you Aussie :)
