In lieu of Monkeys?

      I had occasion to be in Cockermouth.  I knew there were almost always squirrels visible "here"; so I stopped for a brew en route home.
      The lass told me they'd not seen a Squirrel for a long time, Still I enjoyed the Cuppa and BIG Slice of cake.
      I don't remember the "Three Wise Squiggles" when Al and I visited them; can not, for the life of me, remember if I've ever been "solo".

      A thought for the Grammar Nazis - Is that ' in the RIGHT position?
