Frikend Treat!

Another Frikend decision to cycle to work and then give myself a treat to start the weekend by taking a convoluted way home because why not!

I decided to take in the climb of Saddleworth Road and then drop into Ripponden. Once there I thought I'd take the road that goes past Baitings Reservoir where I was quite surprised to see the water was not running down the dam wall! I went all the way up to the White House before going down Cragg Vale into Mytholmroyd. A little bit of a loopy way back to Queensbury was hatched from there.

It was torrential rain for a chunk of the ride but then it did ease to a lighter type of rain drop!! I was more than happy though because to me, it doesn't actually matter whether it's raining or the sun is shining. As long as I am riding my bike, I'm smiling. :-)
