Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Not another one!

Another slow start for me, but then I took Archie on a big walk to post a parcel. Archie waits patiently outside. I know it’s not advisable to do this in many places… We walked back again instead of getting the bus.

I must say, it's quite awkward carrying a parcel, a dog lead and a walking stick. Made slightly more awkward when Archie changed sides every now and again. Then when he did a poo, a poo bag to carry to the next bin. So when I needed a tissue for my old lady's drippy nose, I actually needed three hands.

I went on down the road to Specsavers - they have moved to a more convenient spot, right opposite the bus stop. My left eye is a bit fuzzy, and often it's because of a fingerprint on the lens, but often it isn't.

After that big walk, although only 5,290 steps - nothing for a day in Seville - I had a bit of snooze.

Archie's wee bump is fine, though he still likes to lick it now and then, so the ever-present cone is popped on. He also has a lump growing between his eyebrows.! What a dug!!
