Castle

Stronghold of the Douglases, built by Archibald the Grim in 1369, Threave Castle stands on an island on the River Dee. Two Peregrine Falcons were perched on the turrets and there is an Osprey nest nearby.
Heading for Carlingwark Loch parkrun tomorrow.
