A cold wet Flower Friday

Today Violet didn't go to school as last night she wasn't at all well and couldn't even eat her favourite tea.  Instead she spent the day with us until daughter #1 arrived and at at tea time took her over to her mummy, daughter #2.  Mr MC and I spent quite a bit  of time sorting out our luggage ready for tomorrow when we fly to one of our favourite hotels.  We are hoping that both we and the suitcases do reach the hotel as we have received a number of emails  from Tui, changing our terminal and then the airline that we actually fly with, twice.  Lastly we received an email telling us that the luggage belts are broken where we check in so having done so, we have to lug our hold cases to another zone to hand them to porters who, apparently, will ensure that they get to our destination.  Everything is crossed! 
In between various chores I nipped out to the chilly doorstep and photographed another of our osteospermums.  These orange ones hadn't even opened fully today, so grey, wet and cold  was it.
