Wet and cold

A very wet day and not very warm as we tidied at New Inn, the entrance to the estate.

We cut the grass, planted out some hardy summer flowering plants and removed some weeds.

There is an exhibition of items found since 1989 by the National Trust staff and volunteers . Given today’s weather the old hot water bottle seemed appropriate.
