Into Edinburgh at an early hour.

So early we sailed in, traffic was light. Got there way too early.

A hospital appointment at the Western with a consultant no less. Poked, prodded, and manipulated. Went back over my medical history as far back as 1998 which is further back than I can remember. He suggested lowering my alcohol intake but honestly sitting on the floor isn't comfortable. Then off to the nurse for some bloods and other checks, weighed, height, temperature, blood pressure, cholesterol. Finally off for a selection of x-rays. The pre appontment blurb had told me to allow two hours for the process, I was in and out in 30 minutes, Hurrah.

When I phoned Mrs FP to come and claim me she had just settled into a local cafe for a coffee. 

We had planned to lunch in town but it was far too early so home we came.
