Democracy in action

We only had Police commissioners on our ballot today. I was pleasantly surprised to see a steady stream of voters of all ages at our polling station. Still not used to seeing “station” here when in Scotland it is called a “place”.

It came as no surprise to me at all that our former PM Mr Johnson turned up to cast his vote without his ID and was, correctly, turned away.

A “new” FM appears to have emerged north of the border.
