Kellie Castle

We had a day out today to Kellie Castle in Fife which is a National Trust property. A well presented castle which was restored as a family home by the Lorimer family in the 19th Century having originally been the seat of the Earls of Kellie. In addition to the castle there is also a magnificent walled garden which at this time is full of colour and a huge selection of vegetables.
After our castle visit we went to Pittenweem and enjoyed a walk along the coastal path to St Monans....breezy and bracing but under clear blue skies.
