Excited

We managed to make progress with her passport today (application was done three months ago but there were some small yet prolonged issues) and finally seem to be sorted today. She was super excited to hear the news and fizzed about the joyous summer it will enable. She showed me delightedly that she's wearing her treasures every day. I think its both excitement and feeling close to mama. A large large large amount of excitement! 

There is a dilemma upon her at the moment. She has been invited to perform in the pit for the senior production of West Side Story. She loves this musical and would quite like to dance in the production. But also knows that being picked for the band is a big big deal when shes only a rising year 10 (what a disturbing sentence... year 10!) 

She had a good bassoon lesson with C today. We made a couple of decisions about her auditions next season too and ordered her a new harness to try. Her ballet teacher had noticed at half term that her shoulders are developing differently and one had a lot of tension in it. She thinks it's from the bassoon and then C suggested a different harness for her, so hopefully this will help
