A day to do something different. I've never been in a hide before. It was full of Chris Packham types with booming voices and who saw what, but in my own world, looking through my binoculars, I was cut off from it all.

I know more birds than I thought. Such a peaceful way to spend the day. We were by far the youngest, or so I would like to believe.

This evening, we had been recommended a tasting menu at the Unruly Pig. Thursday sees the price reduced significantly. Superb food. What a way to end this trip.
